Solar Energy for Science/Building Bridges

EWACC 2012/Building Bridges Conference - Cyprus, 10-12 December 2012

The Cyprus Institute together with DESY and other partnering institutions are organizing the follow-up conference "Energy, Water and Climate Change 2012 - Building Bridges" to be held under EC presidency on 10-12 December 2012 in Nicosia, Cyprus. The planned outcome is a “Cyprus Declaration 2012” with recommendations on how to promote and implement an effective Euro-Mediterranean S&T collaboration that addresses regional aspects of the grand challenges.

A special asset of the conference is the organization of a Young Scholars Forum, an event which is held prior to the main conference and which will promote the next generation of researchers and students - mainly from MENA countries.
